Deputy Leader of the Parliament Awami League Presidium member Matia Chowdhury MP said that the amount of development in Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina cannot be overstated. The face of Bangladesh has changed today as a result of the overall development of the nation as well as the great development of the country. He said all this while speaking as the chief guest at the blanket distribution ceremony organized at Barmaisa Government Primary School ground of Urfa Union of Nakla Upazila of Sherpur on Friday morning at 9 am. Matia Chowdhury MP said that the development in various sectors including communication and education during Sheikh Hasina’s tenure cannot be overstated. Especially Padma Bridge, Metro Rail of capital Dhaka, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel under Karnaphuli river have been constructed. He also said that the development in the education sector was not possible for any other country or government in such a short period of time. And this has been possible only because of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of the father of the Bengali nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. At this time, he vowed to strengthen Sheikh Hasina’s hand by voting for Awami League again in the upcoming national parliamentary elections for the development of the country and the nation. Later, Matia Chowdhury announced the first 10 students and students of all government primary schools and madrasas of the different unions and municipalities of Nalitabari Upazila in the order of second class merit.
