Not just education, good education should be given. They should be developed as good citizens. He said these things while addressing the Chief Guest at the National Primary Education Week discussion meeting organized by Upazila Administration and Upazila Education Office at Upazila Parishad Hall on Monday (March 13). Member of Parliament Ayen Uddin said, previously 5 to 7 out of 50 female students used to come to school. Not like that now. Now the number of girls coming to school has increased. Now the number of female teachers in primary schools is also very high in many upazilas including Paba upazila. This is also an awakening of women’s education. He said that if we cannot create awareness in all aspects including education, then there will be no smart Bangladesh. In addition to moral education, you must give moral education, humanitarian education and environmental education to those who are head teachers – encouragement to grow. If they get that education or if that skill can be learned by my new generation, future generation boys and girls, our state will be established on the map of the world as a smart state. Upazila Education Officer Rafiqul Islam gave a welcome speech under the theme of “Quality Primary Education, Smart Bangladesh Garr Diksha” chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Lasmi Chakma and moderated by Upazila Assistant Education Officer Rozi Khandkar. Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Arzia Begum, Upazila Engineer Maqbul Hossain, Upazila Rural Development Officer Shamsunnahar, Upazila Accounting Officer Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Youth Development Officer MMN Zahurul Islam were the guests. Katakhali Town Awami League General Secretary and BM College Principal Zahurul Islam Ripon, Principal Teacher Poli Kund, Teacher Nazrul Islam, Teacher Amita Rani, Upazila Jute Development Officer Golam Mostafa, Teacher Harun Rashid and other primary school teachers, students, dignitaries were also present. , officials and employees of different departments of upazila administration and upazila education office. At the end, prizes were distributed among the 6 winners of the drawing competition and beautiful handwriting competition in the discussion meeting on the occasion of National Primary Education Week. Also, laptops have been distributed to 26 government primary schools under the Fourth Primary Education Development Program (PEDP-4) implemented by the Department of Primary Education.
