Under the non-formal education bureau of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, a day-long information meeting was held at Dumki in Patuakhali under the initiative of PDO (Peace and Development Organization) to implement the out-of-school children education program. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of UNO Md. Al Imran in the Dumki Upazila Parishad conference room yesterday morning Dr. Haroon Or Rasheed was the chief guest.Vice Chairman Ed. Masood Al Mamun, Mrs. Farida Yasmin, Secondary Education Officer Badrunnahar, Government Janata College Principal Md. Abdul Latif, Nasima Keramat Ali Women’s College Principal Md. Abu Jafar, Dumki Business Management And Technical Women’s College Principal Jamal Hossain along with Chairman of various UP, heads of various educational institutions, representatives of civil society and media workers participated in the meeting. Deputy Director of Patuakhali District Non-formal Education Bureau Md Jane-i Alam gave a welcome speech in the meeting.
