Under the hilsa resource development and management project in Rajapur of Jhalkathi, bark bark, food and nets have been distributed among the registered fishermen for the creation of various jobs. On Wednesday (March 1) in the afternoon organized by the Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer’s office, distribution of 1 cow each to 20 beneficiary fishermen, 40 goats 2 each to 20 people, 1 goat feed and food and nets to 8 groups of fishermen was organized at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium. is Upazila Chairman Principal Md. Moniruzzaman was the chief guest on the occasion, District Fisheries Officer Ripon Kanti Ghosh, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Afroza Akhtar Laiju and others were special guests. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer (retd) Farzana Bobby Mitu and conducted by Marine Fisheries Officer Mahamudul Hasan, Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Md. Mozammel Haque, officials and employees of various departments and fishermen were present in the ceremony.
