DB raid in Khulna in connection with Dutch Bengal money robbery, arrest 4 including two women

Dhaka DB Police arrested 4 people including two women from Khulna in connection with the robbery of Dutch-Bangla Bank in Dhaka. They were arrested from C&B Colony in Jorgate area of the city on Sunday morning to 2 pm. Sonadanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Momtazul Haque confirmed the matter.
According to Sonadanga Police Station and local sources, a team of DB Police of Dhaka raided the residence of one Jahangir on the fourth floor of 2R/2-7 building of Joragate C&B Colony in the city. Jahangir’s sister-in-law Akash and two women were arrested from that house. Later another person was arrested.
The people of the flat next to Jahangir said that since early morning the police surrounded the entire building and entered the house on the fourth floor. His brother-in-law and sister came to this house yesterday (Saturday).
During the operation, Dhaka DB ADC Rashed told reporters that the operation is underway in several other places based on this source of Khulna. As a result, for the sake of confidentiality of the investigation, nothing can be said in detail.
In this regard, Sonadanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Momtazul Haque said that a team of Dhaka DB Police is conducting the operation with the cooperation of Sonadanga Police Station. However, we do not know anything about whether anyone was arrested or money was recovered in the operation. Sonadanga Thana Police has just cooperated with DB Police of Dhaka.
