With the aim of creating young scientists in every educational institution in Muradnagar, Comilla, a science-related motivation meeting was held on the personal initiative of MP Yusuf Abdullah Haroon FCA. The meeting was organized at Muradnagar Government Technical School and College on Saturday. Teachers and thousands of students from all educational institutions of the upazila participated in it. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Alauddin Bhuiyan Jani, Comilla-3 Muradnagar Constituency Member of Parliament Yusuf Abdullah Haroon FCA spoke as the chief guest. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nazmul Huda spoke as the special guest.
In the speech of the chief guest, MP Yusuf Abdullah Haroon, the organizer of the meeting on science, said that there is no alternative to science in building a smart Bangladesh. In this era of globalization, a nation can prosper only if science is prioritized. He called upon every educational institution to emphasize science and technology based education to young students. Former Upazila Chairman Syed Abdul Qayyum Khosru, Upazila Health Officer Dr Mohammad Enamul Haque, Upazila Engineer Raihanul Alam Chowdhury, Companyganj Badiul Alam High School Principal Mofizul Islam, Muradnagar Press Club convener Abul Khair were present in the meeting among others.
