He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration of the project titled “River Conservation” to protect the banks of the river from Khashpukuria in Chauhali Upazila of Sirajganj to Char-Salimabad.
Enamul Haque Shamim said that this year’s proposed budget will play an appropriate role in building Smart Bangladesh of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in order to build Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla. This budget is the budget to turn around the crisis. This budget is a people-friendly budget. In the last three years, the impact of the corona epidemic and Russia-Ukraine war has affected Bangladesh like other countries around the world. This timely budget is to speed up the economy of Bangladesh by overcoming the effects of that economic recession.
The deputy minister said that in 2006, BNP announced a budget of 63 thousand crore rupees in their last term, 80 percent of which was brought from abroad. And the current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government has announced a budget of Tk 761,000 crore, of which more than 80 percent is the money of the people of the country. Bangladesh has now learned to stand on its own feet.
He said, BNP does not dream of coming to power by people’s vote. They will not even come to the people to vote. The people of the country saw that in the last two elections. They will basically not elect, they will spoil the election. They will burn people in buses. Everyone should be careful about this. All the people of the country are with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Therefore, the people of this country will bring Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina to power in the next election as well. He also said that due to the effective action of the government, river erosion has reduced across the country. Permanent projects are being done across the country to prevent erosion under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister. In the next few years, the people of Bangladesh will be largely saved from floods and river erosion. The quality of the work is maintained, to be completed within the specified time. Any type of negligence, irregularity and corruption in work will not be tolerated.
