In Barura of Comilla, the work of the rural piped water scheme project has been successfully inaugurated in Barura upazila under the safe water supply project in the whole country under the implementation by the Directorate of Public Health and Engineering. On March 17, at 3 pm, the rural piped water scrim project was inaugurated by Nachimul Alam Chowdhury (Najrul), Member of Parliament of Comilla 8 Barura Constituency and President of Barura Upazila Awami League as the chief guest. Barura Upazila Public Health Engineer Noor Mohammad Shamim, Adda Union Parishad Chairman and Barura Upazila Awami League Organizing Secretary Zakir Hossain Badal, Upazila Awami League Information and Research Secretary Nazmul Huda Ratan were present as special guests in the inaugural function under the chairmanship of Adda Union Awami League President Abdul Hai. Union Awami League general secretary Kamal Majumder, journalist Salil Biswas, Belal Hossain and others. For this project, 7 percent land was donated by Standard Group Chairman Engineer Atiqur Rahman, Barura Foundation and Chhotulagao High School President Md Tofazzal Ali. If the implementation of the project is complete, the people of the 5 km area of the area will be benefited.
