 A parent rally was held at Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School, Comilla. On Sunday, March 19, the traditional Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School headmaster Md Medhad Uddin presided over and the chief guest was Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School Managing Committee President Md Nashir Uddin Lincoln. Special guests were Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md Saiful Islam, representative of Barura Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Ali Hossain Mortuza, Councilor of Barura Municipality Md Jamal Uddin, Md Khair Imam Chowdhury, Aman Ullah Aman, Mainul Hossain Helal, Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, member of the school management committee spoke as special guests. Md. Abdur Rahman, assistant teacher of the school, spoke about the new curriculum, Laxman Chandra Pal, Kuhinur Kavita, Omar Farooq, Jobair Hossain, the school’s assistant teacher, Md. Anwar Hossain spoke on behalf of the parents. The parent gathering was divided into two phases, the first phase starting at 9 am with the students of class IX and parents. The second phase of the parent assembly started at 2.30 pm with the students of classes VI, VII and VIII and their parents. Speaking at the gathering, the guests said that Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced the creation of Smart Bangladesh, and sought the cooperation of parents to make every class of students smart in addition to a teacher being smart. He also urged children to come to school regularly and pay attention to their studies.
