District Lawyers Association held a general meeting of Dupuo on Tuesday and took this decision. Later the matter was informed to the journalists. This decision will be effective from Wednesday and will continue till February 16. According to the latest program, the lawyers announced to boycott the court of District and Sessions Judge and Women and Child Torture Tribunal-1 until February 7. The lawyers took this decision in a general meeting on February 1. The district bar lawyers have been boycotting all the courts since January 5 to demand the removal of Brahmanbaria District and Sessions Judge Sharmin Nigar and Women and Child Abuse Tribunal-1 Judge (District and Sessions Judge) Mohammad Farooq and exemplary trial of District Judge Nazir Muminul. At one stage, the lawyers are participating in the proceedings of all other courts, continuing to boycott the courts of District and Sessions Judge and Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal-1. If the demands of the lawyers are not met by February 7, a special general meeting may be held on that day and strict programs like boycotting all the courts may be taken from the related sources.
