8 leaders and activists arrested from BNP’s 10-point demand march in Tarashe

Tarash (Sirajganj) Correspondent : BNP in police operation in Tarash upazila of Sirajganj Tarash Thana police arrested 8 leaders and workers of the union march program and organization on the 10-point demand. These leaders and activists were arrested by conducting raids in different unions of the upazila from dawn to 11:00 am today.The arrested are Upazila BNP vice-president Golam Azam, Saguna Union BNP president and former chairman Abu Saeed, Magura Vinod Union BNP president Mozahar Ali, Magura Vinod Union youth convener Nazmul Huda Ravi, member secretary Tarek Mollah, BNP leaders Rafiqul Islam, Hasinur Rahman Prince and Mohammad Ali.In this context, Tarash Upazila BNP president S.M. Afchar Ali said that the police arrested the BNP leaders and activists in an old sabotage case to disrupt the march of BNP leaders and activists at the union level in protest against the anarchy of the current government. Police Inspector (Investigation) of Tarash police station confirmed this information. Noore Alam said that the arrested are the accused in the old sabotage case. They will be sent to court.
