The 73rd annual sports and competition prize distribution and cultural program of Bharipasa Secondary School located in Keshavpur Union of Bauphal Upazila of Patuakhali was organized with great joy and celebration.
The event was organized for two days on February 27 and 28. Among the several secondary educational institutes in Keshavpur Union, Bharipasa Secondary School has gained wide reputation in terms of results and quality of education, which has set the eye of all. The 73rd annual and cultural program at the school started with a total of 75 types of items. Out of this, 55 sports items and 20 cultural items.
At present the school has 15 teaching staff. Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan, former student leader of sports and cultural events, President of Shahidullah Hall of Dhaka University (President of the Managing Committee) was the chief guest and Chief Whip of the 10th National Assembly and President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Government Institutions AS M Feroze MP.
The special guests of the event were Mosharef Hossain Khan Vice Chairman Upazila Parishad Bauphal, Ms. Maryam Begum Nisu, Md. Saleh Uddin Piku Chairman Keshabpur Union Parishad, Moniruzzaman (Titu) General Secretary Keshabpur Union Awami League, prominent businessman Mahbubur Rahman and managing committee of Bharipasa Secondary School. Members, local dignitaries, parents and students, social and political personalities, teachers and students of various institutions, businessmen and local print media journalists.
