Bijaynagar in Case against 168 people including former Public Works Minister Moktadir

A case has been filed in the name of 168 Awami League leaders and activists including former Housing and Public Works Minister Ram Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury MP for vandalizing the car of BNP Central Economic Affairs Secretary Engineer Khaled Hossain Mahbub Shyamal at Bijaynagar police station.
BNP leader SM Rastu Sarkar filed this case as a plaintiff at Bijaynagar police station on August 28.
According to the statement of the case, the leader of the plaintiff, Engineer Khaled Hossain Mahbub Shyamal, from Brahmanbaria 3 (Sadar Bijaynagar) constituency in the 11th National Assembly election on December 31, 2018, took a convoy of cars towards Bijaynagar upazila to pay tribute to the Bijaynagar Day on December 16 and participate in election activities. After arriving, the upazila Awami League leaders and activists attacked with cocktails and native weapons under the instructions of former Housing and Public Works Minister Ram Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury MP. During this time, some BNP activists were injured along with vandalizing the car.
Former Housing and Public Works Minister Ram Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury MP has been accused in the case, Upazila Awami League President Ed. Zahirul Islam Bhuiyan, General Secretary Jahangir Mridha, Islampur Alhaj Kazi Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Founder of Islam College Kazi Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Former Upazila Chairman Nachima Mukai Ali, District Jubo Mahila League General Secretary Alam Nalla Duli, Chandura Union Parishad Chairman AM Shamiul Haque Chowdhury, Harshpur Chairman of the Union Parishad. Sarwar Rahman Bhuiyan, Budhanti Union Parishad Chairman Kazi Saiyidul Haque, Singarbil Union Parishad Chairman Monirul Islam Bhuiyan, Paharpur Union Parishad Chairman Abul Kalam Khandaker Azad, former Upazila Women Vice Chairman Faizunnahar Tuni, former Chairman Mizanur Rahman, Kamruzzaman Ratan and 168 others are anonymous. Some of the defendants have been made defendants of upazila and various union Awami League and other organizations.
