Nur Islam Noyon, Dinajpur Correspondent : Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Director (Commercial), Joint Secretary and former Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Fulbari Upazila of Dinajpur district Md. Moniruzzaman visited the BCIC Buffer (Fertilizer) Godown in Pulhat, Dinajpur city on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 9:30 am.
Md. Manjur Reza, Senior General Manager Marketing, BCIC, was present as his accompanying person at that time. Also present among others were BCIC Buffer Godown Pulhat Coordination Officer and In-charge Arjun Roy, Fertilizer Association Dinajpur Director Farhadul Islam, etc.
During the inspection, Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Director (Commercial), Joint Secretary Md. Moniruzzaman visited all the buildings of the Pulhat Fertilizer Godown and exchanged views with local officials on various issues including fertilizer stock. He inquired about all the register books of the godown, vehicle loading, unloading, delivery, etc. At that time, he signed the inspection book of the office. Then he inspected the under-construction Kauga, Dinajpur Buffer Godown and exchanged views with local officials. During the exchange of views, he said that once the construction of the 20,000 MT capacity warehouse is completed, the farmers of Dinajpur district will get fertilizer easily and at affordable prices. From here, he inspected the buffer warehouse in Parbatipur and the buffer warehouse in Nilphamari district.
