Payalgach Technical Girls High School, Barura, Comilla held annual sports, cultural competition prize distribution and mother’s rally. On Saturday 25th February, Barura Upazila Payalgachch Girls Technical High School Managing Committee President Kazi Ayyub Ali, Upazila Awami League Executive Committee member presided over the event, Comilla 08 Barura Member of Parliament, Upazila Awami League President Naschimul Alam Chowdhury Nazrul was the chief guest. Barura Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Saiful Islam, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Md. Nashir Uddin Lincoln, Barura Municipality Mayor and Municipal Awami League General Secretary Md. Baktar Hossain Bakhtiar, Comilla District Awami Jubo League Joint Convener, former Zilla Parishad Member Md. Sohel were the special guests. Samad, Khoshbas North Union Parishad Chairman Md. Nazmul Hasan Sardar, Barura Upazila Private Secondary Education Officer Kazi Md. Ayub Ali, General Secretary Swapan Majumdar, Principal of the school Md. Kamruzzaman Biplab gave a welcome speech on the occasion, while the chief guest said in his speech that if there is an interest in establishing an institution that Any adverse conditions are possible. Former UP Chairman Md. Ayub Ali had to work hard to establish the Payalgach Technical Girls’ High School, after establishing this institution, I recommended it to be included in the MPO. He said that Hon’ble Prime Minister is giving special government support to students in every educational institution of the country with free textbooks, stipends and teachers’ salaries. Parents are requested to be careful. He also called on the leaders of the society to come forward to prevent drugs and child marriage. He also said that Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced Smart Bangladesh and called upon a teacher to be smart as well as to make students smart. At the end of the program, the winners of the sports and cultural competitions were distributed among the winners.
