Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team returned to win the Top & T20 series in Australia after losing two matches in a row. They beat the Australian Capital Territory by 6 wickets.

Australian Capital Territory won the toss and batted first, losing 9 wickets and scored 124 runs in Darwin on Thursday (August 15). In response, Bangladesh won with 6 wickets in hand with 20 balls left to bat.

Bowlers have done half the work for Bangladesh. The Ripon Mandals did not let the batters of the Australian Capital Territory get their heads down. The task of the batsmen became much easier as they could restrict the opponent to 124 runs in 20 overs.

Ripon took 3 wickets at the cost of 26 runs by bowling 4 overs in this match. Abu Haider took 2 wickets with equal runs.

Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Jisan Alam started to bat. They scored 51 runs in the opening pair. Tamim got out after scoring 18 runs off 15 balls. But a great fifty by Hankan Zisan. This right-handed batsman scored 50 runs off 36 balls. Both openers were victims of Jack Smith.

Parvez Hossain Emon scored 23 runs off 24 balls. Afif scored 17 runs off 18 balls. By that time, Bangladesh is almost on the verge of victory. After that the win was confirmed by captain Akbar Ali’s unbeaten 5 runs. Shamim Hossain was unbeaten on 1 run with him.
