28 February, 23 Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Traveling Rail Museum exhibition is going on at Jaipurhat Railway Station. This museum is arranged in an air-conditioned room of the railway with 12 successive episodes of the father of the nation’s childhood-adolescence and working life. Visitors flock to this museum to learn about the colorful life of Bangabandhu. The museum arrived at Jaipurhat station from Birampur station with Uttara train at 6.15 am on Monday morning. All day on Tuesday (28 February) the railway museum will be on line 3 of the station for displays. Meanwhile, the railway museum has impressed the visitors. Various aspects of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s life from 1920 to 1975 have been brought out in this museum through 12 galleries. Among them, various history of language movement, 6 points, popular uprising of 69, election of 70, declaration of independence, Mujib Nagar government, liberation war and 16 December great victory. Glasses used by Bangabandhu, party symbol boat, Bangabandhu’s favorite tobacco pipe, Mujib Coat, Bangabandhu’s burial place, Victory Column of 71 in Kamalapur, National Memorial, Shaheed Minar, Mujib centenary logo, books written by Bangabandhu, Mujibnagar Monument, photos of surrender of Pakistanis are adorned in the museum. In addition to pictures, video images are showing various things. Bangabandhu’s speech along with his biography is being broadcast on the audio system. Shayan Kundu, a student of Jaipurhat Government College who came to see this museum, said that the mobile railway museum is very beautiful.
