The two-day indoor games 2023 award ceremony was organized by the International Standard University (ISU) IT Club. ISU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Awal Khan handed over the prizes to the winners at the Mohakhali campus of the university on Sunday afternoon. The Vice-Chancellor said that the university authorities will always be there for the support needed in sports for the development of the students’ talent. There must be enthusiasm and effort in any work, there must be an interest to grow, only then can one move forward through the work. He also said that the students will have regular classes, sports. will, participate in various club activities, only then they will be able to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the coming days. Hundreds of students from different departments participated in the tournament in several categories (Table-Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Rubik’s Cube). The title sponsor of the tournament was world-renowned and Japan’s number one water purifier brand Torrevino and the co-sponsor was Bangladesh’s renowned news presentation institute Laksh News Presentation Academy. Abu Talha and Shihab Uddin became champions in table tennis doubles, runners-up Zakir Hossain and Rakib Ahmed Himel; Table tennis singles champion Tanveer Anjum, runner-up Mujahid Hossain Mazumder; Rubik’s Cube Champion Ibrahim Hussain Sajjad; Champion in chess: Zakir Hossain, runner-up Sakib Sarkar; Carrom champions Shahadat Ali and Sarwar Hossain, runners-up Golam Rabbani, Soukhin. The best female player Kaniz Fatema Setu, the best male player Ibrahim Hossain Sajjad and Tanveer Anjum of the Indoor Games 2023 organized by IT Club. Registrar Md. Lutfar Rahman, Assistant Professor of Business Administration Department and Consultant of Torrevino SM Nasser Iqbal, Lecturer of Computer Science and Engineering Department Mujibur Rahman, Senior Assistant Director of Planning and Development and Coordinator of Sports Club Abu Nazim, Head of Public Relations were also present on the occasion.
