In 2015, a case has been registered against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and five people for kidnapping a lawyer from Uttara in the capital.
Supreme Court lawyer Sohel Rana filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farzana Shakila Sumu Chowdhury on Wednesday (August 14). The court accepted the statement of the plaintiff. After that he ordered Uttara West Police Station to record the case against 5 people including Sheikh Hasina as a statement.
