Although the severity of the flood is terrible, all problems can be solved if the people are together, said the Interior Advisor of the Interim Government Lt. General (retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

He said, there will be no shortage of relief drugs. It is difficult to go to many places. So the relief is getting delayed. This problem will not last long. Administration can reach everywhere if people help. You should cooperate with the administration.

The Home Affairs Advisor said these things during the relief and medicine distribution ceremony at the Noakhali Police Training Center on Monday (August 26) at 12:15 pm.

Lieutenant General Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, ‘I know that the Muchapur regulator of Companyganj has completely collapsed. How to take quick action to restore it. I will tell the people, you should also help us. Everyone’s efforts will definitely bring something good.’

Before this, the Home Affairs Adviser reached Ghagalnai of Feni by helicopter under the supervision of BGB at 11:15 a.m. and distributed relief activities and medicines there.

BGB Headquarters Public Relations Officer (PRO) Shariful Islam said that the Home Advisor distributed relief materials to 500 flood affected families including 250 families in Feni and 250 families in Noakhali on behalf of BGB.

BGB Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, Home Ministry Senior Secretary Moshiur Rahman, Noakhali Deputy Commissioner Dewan Mahbubur Rahman, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Asaduzzaman, Army’s 16 Field Artillery Lieutenant Colonel Ashraf Uddin, Civil Surgeon Dr. Senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs and BGB Headquarters along with Masum Iftekhar were present.
