Locals said that recently the large trees of the eucalyptus garden behind the madrasa were being cut one by two for a long time. Recently, hundreds of trees in that garden were cut to build a market next to the highway on the instructions of Madrasa Principal Abdus Samad. No permission was taken to cut the trees. Besides, the principal also sold most of the trees secretly overnight after cutting the trees. But a few trees have been left in the madrasa premises. The madrasa principal and his associates have grabbed about 4 to 5 lakh rupees by selling the trees. Besides, he is grabbing huge amount of money in the name of allocating positions in the name of his own people by filling the land for market construction. Industrialist Maqbular Rahman has donated more than 12 bighas of land in important areas of the city. He has made a plan. In 1970, when he lost the national election in Hurricane Marka as a nominated candidate from the Muslim League, he left Panchagarh for the rest of his life by donating all his assets in the name of madrasas, colleges and hospitals. Recently, they published the recruitment circular of peon, nanny and security staff in that institution. Rumors of large amount of transactions are going on in the name of recruitment before the recruitment exam. It is known that the bids for hiring people for each post are at least 10 lakh taka. Abdus Samad, principal of the madrasa claimed that the trees were cut by resolution and said that UNO knows everything and everything has been done according to the rules. Panchagarh Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Masudul Haque said that a show cause notice has been issued to the principal of the madrasa for cutting trees without permission.
