Police arrested 03 (three) drug addicts along with drug (marijuana) and drug consumption equipment while consuming drugs in the special operation of Aditmari police station. On Monday (May 22), under the leadership of the officer in-charge of Aditmari Police Station of Lalmonirhat, 03 (three) drug addicts were caught red-handed with drugs (marijuana) and drug use equipment while consuming drugs on the south side of Hajiganj Bazar No. 3 Kamalbari UP under Aditmari Police Station of the district.
The arrested accused are Babul Mia (38), Ashraful (32) and Jahangir Alam (35). Accused Babul Mia is the son of Abbas Ali of Hajiganj area of ​​Aditmari Upazila and Ashraful is the son of Alal Mia of the same area and accused Jahangir Alam is the son of Jobed Ali of that union. The learned Executive Magistrate Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Rojatun Jannat, Aditamari Lalmonirhat imposed a fine of Tk 3,000 and 3 days imprisonment on each of the said drug addicts. In this regard, Aditmari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozammel Haque confirmed the truth of the incident.
