On April 30, 2025, at approximately 5:30 PM, a team from RAB-10, based on secret intelligence and technological support, and with the cooperation of RAB-11, conducted an operation in the Rajganj area under the jurisdiction of Kotwali Model Police Station in Comilla district. During the operation, they arrested Md. Swapon Mia (25), son of Md. Abdul Salam, of Narondi, Nabinagar, under Keraniganj Model Police Station, Dhaka district. He is a named accused in Case No. 14, dated 15/11/2024, filed under Sections 11(b)/30 of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, 2000 (Amendment 2003) with the Keraniganj Model Police Station in Dhaka.
The arrested accused has been handed over to the concerned police station.
