Dinajpur District Branch of Private Clinic and Diagnostic Owners Association distributed food and Eid gifts among the poor and helpless fasting people in front of the directives of Bangabandhu’s daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Shah Mohammad Sharif, Deputy Civil Surgeon of Dinajpur, spoke as the chief guest at the distribution ceremony of food items in the FPAB auditorium at Ghasipara on Thursday, April 13, under the chairmanship of Dr. Momtaz Begum Poli, acting president of the organization. Eminent pediatrician and president of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Dinajpur district branch Dr. SM Wares Ali Sarkar and former civil surgeon Dr. Abdul Karim spoke as special guests. Md. Atiqur Rahman Niu, general secretary of the organization, gave a welcome speech. Md. Mominur Rahman Bappi, convenor of the food distribution sub-committee gave a welcome speech. Joint General Secretary Aktaruzzaman Sabuj was also present at the distribution ceremony. Organizing Secretary Bazlur Rashid Bulu, Treasurer Atiqur Rahman Atiq, Members Md Zakir Hossain, Shri Jagdish Chandra Roy, Shafiqul Islam Shikder, Bhavatosh Dev Sharma, Tofail Ahmed, Abu Bakkar Siddique and many others. Chief Guest Deputy Civil Surgeon Shah Mohammad Sharif said, when the recession is prevailing in Sarabish, the daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina thought of the helpless and poor people and stopped the Iftar program and distributed food items among them. Food items are being distributed today. The holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is ahead. This little arrangement of the organization has been made to put a smile on the faces of the rich and the poor.
