A young man named Abdul Hakim (26) was shot dead on the spot by armed men in Fultali village of Raikhali Union No. 2 in Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati. Abdul Hakim is the son of the deceased Bahar Ali of Khantakata Ghoniakhola area of ​​Raikhali Union. The incident took place at around 11:40 am on Sunday (June 15), said Mankya Marma, chairman of Raikhali Union No. 2. Our correspondent said that he does not know who or why this incident happened.
Locals, who did not want to be named, said that after 11:30 am on Sunday, a group of 9 to 10 armed men came to Fultali village and fired 5 to 6 rounds at Abdul Hakim. He died on the spot.
Chandraghona Police Station OC (Investigation) Imrul Hasan told Present Time, “We went to the spot after receiving the news of the incident. But the locals are not giving any information to the police. We have not found the body. We are also unable to know who or why this incident happened.”
