A training workshop was held on the occasion of the 12th National Assembly elections in Barura, Comilla.
On Friday, December 29, from 10 am to 5 pm, organized by Election Training Institute Dhaka, Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa and Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School, on the occasion of the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections on January 7, presiding officers, assistant presiding officers Officers, Polling Officers training workshops are conducted.
Barura Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Returning Officer Nu-Emong Marma Mong presided over the training workshop at Barura Sunnia Kamil Madrasa Auditorium at 4 pm. Comilla Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Khandkar Mushfiqur Rahman was present as the chief guest. Comilla District Superintendent of Police Md. Abdul Mannan (BPM Bar), District Senior Election Officer Md. Munir Hossain Khan, learned Additional District Magistrate Syed Shamsu Tabreez, Additional District Commissioner (Development and Human Resource Management) Masuma Ferdous, Barura Upazila Assistant Commissioner Md. Bhumi were the special guests. Moin Uddin, Barura police station officer in charge Md Riaz Uddin Chowdhury, Barura upazila election officer Md Osman Gani. Other leaders were also present. At this time, the chief guest advised the participants of the 12th National Assembly election training workshop in Barura Upazila about various art techniques for free, fair and acceptable elections. A total of 2 thousand 253 trainees including presiding officer, assistant presiding officer, polling officer participated in the training workshop.
