Uzzal Hossain, Pangsha: Harun Or Rashid, MP for Rajbari-2 (Pangsha, Kalukhali and Baliakandi) constituency, has announced a strong stance against corruption and drugs. He said that there will be no place for corruption and drugs in this township. He will provide all-out cooperation in taking legal action against those involved in activities against the public interest.
He reiterated this stance during various meetings and public relations events recently. He said that ensuring a drug and corruption-free environment is very important to build a beautiful, orderly and developed society. He called on the administration, public representatives and the general public to work together towards this end.
Harun Or Rashid said that drugs destroy society and corruption is a major obstacle in the way of development. Therefore, everyone should unite and build resistance against these two social diseases.
It is worth noting that Harun Or Rashid won the Rajbari-2 constituency by a huge margin as the BNP candidate in the 13th National Parliament election. In terms of votes, he came into the discussion as one of the candidates who received the second highest number of votes in the country.
Since the election, he has been playing an active role in various developmental activities, public service and solving social problems in the area. In particular, his strong stance against drugs, terrorism and corruption has received a positive response from the local people.
The locals expect that under the leadership of MP Harun Or Rashid, the ongoing activities against corruption and drugs in Rajbari-2 constituency, along with development activities, will be further accelerated and a safe, peaceful and development-oriented township will be built.
