Shah Al-Amin Amanat : On 09.06.2026, based on a confidential tip-off, a mobile court operation was conducted in Debidwar Upazila of Comilla by the joint initiative of Upazila Administration, Debidwar, Comilla and BSTI District Office, Comilla.
In the said operation, Moslem Food and Beverage, Madhyapara, Marcha, Debidwar, Comilla was fined 50,000/-(Fifty Thousand Taka) as per Section 24(1)/41 of Weight Measurement Standards, 2018 for not having a packaging registration certificate.
The mobile court, conducted under the leadership of the learned Executive Magistrate Mr. Faisal Uddin, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Debidwar, Comilla, was attended by BSTI, Comilla office officer Md. Iqbal Ahmed, Field Officer (CM), and Mr. Md. Shams Tabrez, Inspector (Metrology) as prosecutors.
Such mobile court operations will continue in the public interest.
