Moin Uddin Sarker Sumon , Kuwait: Bangladesh expatriate team Khulna Royal Bengal emerged as champions of the KCC T10 Ramadan League 2026, organized by the Kuwait Cricket Club in Kuwait. The exciting tournament featured 20 teams representing expatriate communities from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and several other countries.
The grand final was held on Friday afternoon at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground, where Bangladesh’s Khulna Royal Bengal faced India’s Super Eleven in a thrilling title clash. Both teams displayed outstanding performances throughout the tournament to secure their places in the final.
After winning the toss, Khulna Royal Bengal elected to bat first and posted a competitive total of 99 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 10 overs. The Bangladeshi side produced a disciplined batting display to set a target of 100 runs for their Indian opponents.
In reply, India’s Super Eleven fought hard during the chase, but Khulna Royal Bengal’s controlled bowling attack and sharp fielding performance restricted them to 87 runs for six wickets in 10 overs. Bangladesh’s team secured a memorable 12-run victory to lift the championship trophy.
Khulna Royal Bengal player Sujon Noor was named Player of the Match for his exceptional performance in the final.
A large number of expatriate cricket fans from different countries gathered at the venue to enjoy the match. Following Bangladesh’s victory, jubilant supporters celebrated enthusiastically with national flags and cheers across the stadium.
Organizers and community members said such sporting events create a strong sense of brotherhood, harmony, and entertainment among expatriates despite their busy working lives abroad.
