Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) prevented the Indian Border Guard from erecting posts near the BSF border in the Kalsir Muk border area of ​​Kuchlibari Union in Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat. Tensions arose between members of both forces at this time, but the situation is under control.
Local sources said that when BSF members took the initiative to erect posts in the area near the zero line of the border, the BGB immediately went to the spot and stopped them. Later, discussions were held between both sides.
BGB said that they are performing their duties in accordance with international border laws and will not accept any activities against the interests of Bangladesh.
Although there is concern among locals in the border area over this incident, the situation is currently normal.
