BNP works for the welfare of the people when it comes to power: Whip Dulu

Advocate M Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, Whip of the National Parliament and Member of Parliament for Natore Sadar-2 constituency, said that whenever BNP came to power, it stood by the poor and helpless people of the country. The party has carried out humanitarian activities for the welfare of the people.
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a financial assistance distribution ceremony organized by the District Council at the Natore District Council auditorium on Friday (May 8) afternoon.
The program was presided over by Natore District Council Administrator and District BNP Convener Rahim Newaz, and addressed by District Council Chief Executive Officer Parvezur Rahman, District BNP Joint Conveners Mostafizur Rahman Shahin and Saiful Islam Aftab, District BNP members Nasim Uddin Nasim and Hafiz Uddin Hafiz, Sadar Thana BNP Convener Principal Rafiqul Islam, and District BNP member and former Chairman of Naldanga Upazila Parishad Advocate Sakhawat Hossain.
Dulu said, “It is not possible to build a beautiful and livable country without the participation of people of all classes and professions, including the rich and the poor, men and women.” He also said that in the past 17 years, BNP leaders and activists have been subjected to various tortures and the party will stand by the persecuted leaders and activists.
At the event, financial assistance of Tk 5,000 per person was provided to 330 helpless and poor people from seven upazilas of the district.
