The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) board of directors led by Aminul Islam Bulbul has been dissolved. Along with this, the National Sports Council (NSC) has formed an 11-member ad hoc committee headed by former national team captain Tamim Iqbal. Tamim will visit BCB on Tuesday (April 7) after taking charge. The first meeting of the new ad hoc committee is being held in the evening. And this meeting may decide who is going to get the responsibility of which department. A member of the new BCB ad hoc committee confirmed the matter to the media.
Earlier in the afternoon, NSC sports director Aminul Ehsan presented the report of the NSC investigation committee formed on the last election at a press conference. He said that the ICC has already been informed via email about the dissolution of the current BCB board. At the same time, the name of the newly formed ad hoc committee and a detailed report on the investigation into irregularities have also been sent to the world cricket’s governing body.
NSC’s proposed 11-member ad hoc committee is chaired by Tamim Iqbal.
Members are Rashna Imam, Mirza Yasir Abbas, Syed Ibrahim Ahmed, Israfil Khasru, Minhajul Abedin, Athar Ali Khan, Tanzil Chowdhury, Salman Ispahani, Rafiqul Islam, Fahim Sinha.
