Desk News: Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Secretariat today, Monday at 12:30 pm.
Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Atiqur Rahman Rumon confirmed the meeting. Atiqur Rahman Rumon said that China has welcomed Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s ‘Bangladesh First’ foreign policy. The country’s representative also said that all kinds of cooperation will continue to protect the sovereignty of Bangladesh.
During the meeting, both sides also discussed Bangladesh-China relations and the Rohingya crisis.
