Rabiul Hossain Chowdhury Ripon: A door-to-door public relations and exchange of views with voters was held in Bangchhari Marma Para of Ward No. 5 of Kaptai Union No. 4 of Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati. On Tuesday, after meeting and exchanging greetings with 118 families of Bangchhari Marma Para, Jubo Dal leader Sumon sought votes from local leaders on behalf of BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman’s nominated candidate for constituency No. 299 of Rangamati Hill District, Advocate Dipen Dewan. At this time, a direct exchange of views was held with voters under the leadership of Sumon Marma, joint convener of Jubo Dal of Kaptai Upazila branch. He called for active participation in the democratic process by maintaining a participatory environment in the upcoming elections. During the mass communication, Joint Convener Sumon Marma said, everyone must play a conscious and responsible role to establish the rights of the people and uphold democratic values. This is our expectation that the people’s opinions will be reflected through an acceptable and participatory election. At that time, Kaptai Upazila BNP member Mohammad Sattar, Kaptai Upazila Jubo Dal members Mohammad Hossain, Abdul Amin, Mohammad Rahim, Mramong Marma, Sagar Marma, Mizan and Karnaphuli College Chhatra Dal members Md. Tarek, Mong Sanu Marma along with ward BNP, Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal leaders at various levels were present with him. During the mass communication, local voters highlighted various problems and expectations of the area. At that time, the leaders present assured to highlight these issues at the relevant level.
