Muhammad Atiqur Rahman, Gazipur District Correspondent : A discussion meeting was held on Tuesday (December 2) at 10 am at the Bhawal Conference Room of the Gazipur Deputy Commissioner’s Office on ‘Forming a new Bangladesh based on youth’. Addressing the meeting organized by the District Information Office as the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alam Hossain said that the new Bangladesh will move forward with the united power of youth. Stressing on providing job-oriented training to the youth, enhancing technical skills, practicing creativity and keeping them drug-free, he said that the government is working to create a healthy environment for the active participation of youth in all fields.
The meeting, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Motachem Bilah, was also addressed by Ahmed Hossain Bhuiyan, Deputy Director of the Local Government Department, journalist Delwar Hossain, senior member of the Supervisory Committee of Gazipur Press Club, Md. Yunus Ali, Deputy Director of the District Islamic Foundation, Alka Prabha De, Deputy Director of the District Youth Development Department, Md. Al Mamun Talukder, District Education Officer, and Shamima Nasrin, District Information Officer. Students from various educational institutions also participated in the discussion. At the end, a documentary made by the Department of Information and Communication on the Youth Festival was screened.
