SB-Sujon :
Abhi, an incredibly brave young man, lives in a rented house in the Uchatari area of Lalmonirhat district town. Abhi, who lost his father in his childhood, has been fighting since birth. His only elder sister has also passed away. Now he is fighting for his life with his mother and sister’s children.
Despite his desire for higher education, Abhi’s formal education ended after completing SSC. After being admitted to the 11th grade, Abhi lost one side of his body due to paralysis. After that, Abhi’s life battle became even more painful.
On one side, the brutal torture of poverty, and on the other, physical disability. All in all, Abhi fell into a pit of despair. However, despite all this, this young man did not give up.
He continues his life battle with strong willpower and strong morale.
Neighbors said that despite having physical disabilities to feed his nephew and mother twice a day, Abhi sells tea from morning to night in the market stalls of Lalmonirhat town. If he cannot sell tea for a day, he has to starve. ‎Abhi, who has a strong sense of self-respect, does not accept it if someone wants to help. His neighbors also said that all the money he had saved has been used up while paying for the treatment of his talented and hardworking son. Therefore, even if he wanted to, his widowed mother Azadi Begum is unable to turn Abhi into a business.
Speaking to Abhi’s mother, she said, “Their family was going well. One day in 2018, Abhi suddenly fell ill due to a brain hemorrhage. Later, when he was taken to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital, the doctors on duty referred Abhi to Rangpur Medical College Hospital. After about nine months of medical treatment, he spent a lot of time at home in a sick state. Now our family is completely destitute. In front of our eyes, our sick son is running a family by selling tea in shops. It is very difficult for me to accept this as a mother.”
Talking to some of the regular customers of Abhi’s tea shop, it was learned that Abhi is a very humble, polite and calm young man. He has passed SSC. Suddenly paralyzed, his family is now gone. We know him. Abhi does not ask anyone for help to make ends meet. His dream is to do his own business and become self-reliant. That is why they appealed to the government and the wealthy people of the society to help Abhi.
In this regard, Deputy Director of Lalmonirhat Social Service Office, Matiar Rahman said, “Abhishek, who has a strong morale, is working despite his physical disability, so we applaud him. If Abhishek wants, he can take up the disabled loan program that our social service has.” He also wished Abhishek all the best.
At present, when we are broken by a little problem, Abhishek is showing us how to keep our morale up and continue the fight for life. Everyone wants this indomitable and brave Abhishek to fulfill his dreams.
