Habibur Rahman Kushtia : The Bi-Annual Conference of Bheramara Municipality Branch BNP was held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11 am at the Bheramara Government Pilot Model High School ground in Kushtia district. Babu Jayanta Kumar Kunda, Khulna Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, said in his speech as the chief guest, on August 5, 2024, the fascist government of Sheikh Hasina fled in the face of the student movement in Bangladesh. How did the 8-point, quota in government jobs, and anti-discrimination movement come in one phase. When the Awami League started creating chaos in the country and torturing students, focusing on the non-political movement of the students, and blaming the BNP for its responsibility, BNP leaders and activists arrested and sent them to jail. Then the general public, BNP leaders and activists, including anti-discrimination students, implemented a one-phase movement demanding the fall of the fascist Hasina government.
He also said that in the past, those who have been imprisoned for working in the field during the long movement struggle, and those who have been subjected to unlimited torture by the Awami fascist government using the steam roller of torture, will be given a place in the BNP committee only by those who have sacrificed themselves. If any Awami League ally gets a place in the committee due to someone’s carelessness, strict party action will be taken against him.
The conference was inaugurated by Kushtia District BNP Convener Qutub Uddin Ahmed. Kushtia District BNP Member Secretary Engineer Zakir Hossain Sarkar spoke as the main speaker.
