Kushtia District Police monthly welfare and crime meeting held

At 09:00 AM District Police Kushtia District Police organized a monthly welfare and crime meeting on Sunday, May 18 at 9 am at the Police Lines Conference Room. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Honorable Superintendent of Police, Kushtia was present as the chief guest in the welfare meeting. The chief guest gave various directive speeches to all those present at the welfare meeting. In the welfare meeting, the welfare proposals proposed in the welfare meeting of the previous month were implemented with approval and at the same time, various problems of police members working in all police stations and other units of the district police and their solutions and various work plans of the police were discussed. At this time, the Superintendent of Police presented awards to a total of 10 (ten) people in three categories in recognition of their commendable work in the month of April/2025 – 1) Best SI, Best Sergeant/TSI, Best ASI, 2) Best Warrant Tamiling Officer, 3) Smart Constable. At the end of the welfare meeting, the newly retired police members from Kushtia district, 1) Md. Habibur Rahman, 2) Md. Alam Hossain, 3) Kanak Kumar Pal and 4) Md. Nizamul Haque Sheikh (Stenographer cum-Computer Operator), were presented with honors and mementos by the worthy Superintendent of Police of Kushtia district. After the welfare meeting, the monthly crime review meeting was held at 12.00 pm in the conference room of the office of the Superintendent of Police of Kushtia district under the chairmanship of Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Faisal Mahmud.
The crime review meeting was chaired by Md. Mizanur Rahman, Superintendent of Police, Kushtia. Important discussions were held at the crime review meeting on various issues including maintaining the overall law and order situation in the district, taking various effective steps to control crime, issuing arrest warrants, progress in pending cases and sensitive cases, and increasing the district’s detective activities.
Present at the event were Pranab Kumar Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), Kushtia, Officers-in-Charge of all police stations, Officer-in-Charge, District Intelligence Branch, DIO-1 (DSB), OC-MT, Police Inspector (City and Vehicles), RI Kushtia and other concerned officers and forces.
