In Amtali, Barguna, a program to distribute free seeds and chemical fertilizers among 5,500 small and marginal farmers has been inaugurated in Amtali Upazila under the Agricultural Incentive Program in the fiscal year 2024-25 to increase Aush cultivation.
Amtoli Upazila Nirbahi Officer (Acting) Tarek Hasan inaugurated the free seed and chemical fertilizer distribution program as the chief guest.
Present at the seed and chemical fertilizer distribution ceremony presided over by Amtoli Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Russell were Upazila BNP Member Secretary Md. Tuhin Mridha. Brave freedom fighter Md. Monirul Islam Talukder. Jamaat-e-Islami leader Md. Abdul Malek, along with journalists, farmers were present.
05 kg of rice seeds, 10 kg of DMP, and 10 kg of MOP fertilizer have been distributed to each farmer.
