On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day on May 3, a seminar titled “Courageous Journalism in the World” was organized by the Bangladesh Journalists Unity Council (BJUC) at the Ornate Ballroom of Hotel Ornate in Bijoynagar in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
The seminar was chaired by Sabbir Ahmed Rony, founder chairman of the Bangladesh Journalists Unity Council, and was chaired by BNP Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon.
The seminar was inaugurated by BJUC Chief Spokesperson Khan Nazrul Islam Hannan.
BJUC Advisor and BOM President Shariful Islam Khan Dollar moderated the seminar, and social scientist and poet Professor Dr. Mu. Nazrul, Secretary General of Bangladesh Editors Forum and Editor of Daily Present Times Omar Faruk Jalal, Chairman of Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Forum Board of Trustees Ahmed Abu Zafar, Joint Editor of Channel i Poet Raju Alim, Chairman of Focus Bangla News Md.
