On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, the Muradnagar Transport Workers’ Union organized a large rally this morning at 9:30 AM, starting from the Transport Workers’ Office at Companyganj Bus Stand.
The rally, led by Union Convener Haji Idris, paraded through various roads and concluded at the starting point — the Transport Workers’ Office. The event was held to honor the contributions and rights of workers, especially those in the transport sector.
Among the notable participants were Md. Zakir Hossain, a leader of the Comilla North District Labour Party; Anisur Rahman, cashier of the Muradnagar Transport Workers’ Union; and union members Md. Shafik Sarkar, Azim, and Tofazzal, among others.
