Bhaluka (Mymensingh) Correspondent: Upazila Executive Officer Hasan Abdullah Al Mahmud has taken an exceptional initiative to preserve the environment of Bhaluka Upazila and enhance the beauty of the city. He has announced that he will personally supply trees and barricade bricks to make the surrounding area from the overbridge to the intersection of five roads and Gafargaon Road green and beautiful.
UNO said, “We will not spend any government money for this work. I want us to beautify our own area. I will voluntarily provide five Nagachura trees from my salary and the bricks needed to build barricades used to protect the trees. You too, participate with us.” He added, “Cassia Javanica (Cassia), Jarul, Krishnachura, Nagachura and Sonalu trees have been chosen as the trees. These trees will not only enhance the environment but also the beauty of the city. We plan to plant the trees during the cleanliness drive on Saturday.”
UNO Hassan Abdullah Al Mahmud called on citizens to actively participate in this initiative and play their role in preserving the environment and keeping the area clean from their respective positions.
