Mohammad Masud Majumdar : Comilla Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Md. Amirul Kaiser on Tuesday, November 5, visited the Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Grounds) office, Barura Thana building, various government offices of the upazila and municipal girls’ government primary school.
He held an exchange meeting with officials of various departments at the pre-arranged Upazila Parishad auditorium. Before that, the students paid their respects to all the martyrs and martyrs who died in the uprising.
Comilla Deputy Commissioner gave cash and good wishes to the family members of the three brave martyrs of Barura Upazila who were present at this time. After the exchange meeting, he visited the grave of martyr Hafez Masudur Rahman located in Arjuntala of Barura municipality and inquired about the general affairs of the family members. He assured that the district administration will provide any kind of support to the martyr’s family. He expressed his intention to be by their side in any need.
After the exchange meeting, he planted a colored flower sapling next to the Upazila Parishad Jame Masjid. He instructed the Upazila Nirbahi Officer to take everyone along and take Barura Upazila forward.
Assistant Commissioner (Confidential) Md Faridul Islam was present as a tour companion of Comilla Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Md Amirul Kaiser. Barura Upazila Executive Officer Nu Emong Marma Mong, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Ahmed Hasan, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mohibus Salam Khan, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Nasrin Sultana Tanu, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Zahidul Islam, Barura were also present.
