A dealer of Bashundhara cylinder gas has been jailed and fined for the crime of selling Bashundhara cylinders at excessive prices in Bauphal of Patuakhali.
The traveling court fined 15 thousand rupees and 7 days imprisonment to Bashundhara cylinder gas dealer Sumon for the crime of selling gas cylinders at a higher price than the fixed price to retail traders and not having a price memo.
Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Prateek Kumar Kundu sent the dealer named Suman to jail with fine and imprisonment by the mobile court last Sunday (November 3).
