Seven people were injured in a clash between students and police at Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School SSC examination center in Comilla, Barura. According to local sources, when the SSC examination ended at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 9, some angry students ransacked and vandalized and outsiders created panic by bursting firecrackers. At that time, the eyewitnesses said that as soon as the examination was over, a volatile situation arose inside the examination hall and the students blocked the two executive magistrates inside the examination center. Barura police station officer-in-charge Md Feroz Hossain along with the joint force tried to control the situation after receiving the information. When the situation deteriorated again, Barura Municipality Mayor Md. Baktar Hossain, General Secretary of Barura Upazila Awami League and Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School President Md. Nashir Uddin Lincoln came and talked to the students and controlled the situation. When the situation was brought under control after 3 pm, all the exam papers were taken away in a police raid.

In this regard, Barura Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Feroz Hossain said that at Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School Center, Comilla District Administrator Md. Shamim Alam, Barura Upazila Executive Officer Sabrina Afrin Mustafa, angry students attacked the teachers and educational institutions in charge of the examination hall after the examination. On receiving the information, the Barura police brought the situation under control without any torture.
