65 centers prepared for SSC and equivalent exams in Patuakhali, 26,797 people will participate

SSC, Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) Exam-2023 is starting from Sunday 30th April. 26,797 people will participate in the SSC equivalent examination in Patuakhali district. 65 (school) centers have been prepared to conduct the examination properly. A total of 26,797 candidates will participate in the SSC, Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examination programs under 11 education boards across the country in 65 centers in 8 upazilas including Sadar Upazila in Patuakhali district under Barisal Education Board. Among these candidates, the number of SSC candidates in 34 centers is 17,090, in 18 centers there are 7,508 candidates and in 13 centers there are 2,199 SSC (Vocational) candidates. Among the SSC examination centers, there are 9 in Sadar Upazila, 1 in Dumki Upazila, 7 in Baufal Upazila, 2 in Dashmina Upazila, 2 in Mirzaganj Upazila, 6 in Galachipa Upazila, 2 in Rangabali Upazila and 5 in Kalapara Upazila. Among the Dakhil examination centers are 3 in Sadar Upazila, 2 in Dumki, 5 in Baufal, 2 in Mirzaganj, 2 in Galachipa, 1 in Dashmania, 2 in Kalapara and 1 in Rangabali Upazila. Among the SAC (Vocational) centers, 3 in Sadar Upazila, 1 in Miizaganj, 2 in Dumki, 2 in Baufal, 1 in Dasmina, 2 in Galachipa, 1 in Kalapara and 1 in Rangabali Upazila, Patuakhali District Education and ICT Department said that the examination will be held. In order to complete the examination properly, a meeting was held with center secretaries, principals of educational institutions, principals of madrasas, superintendents, district and upazila education officers and UNOs under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Md. Shariful Islam in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday, April 12.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Shariful Islam called upon all the participants to work carefully in the meeting to issue question papers and conduct the examination in a fair and peaceful environment free of fakes. In this meeting, 8 upazilas of the district have been divided into 4 regions and 16 magistrates have been appointed in order to complete the examination properly. Besides, 4 vigilance teams have been formed. It is learned that the multiple choice and then the written test will be held on the scheduled day from 10 am to 1 pm. Candidates should enter the center 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Multiple Choice and Essay or Creative must be passed separately. Candidates can use normal scientific calculator. No one else can use the mobile phone in the examination center except the center secretary. Entry of the public within 200 yards of the centers has been banned except for the examinees. However, students with special needs will get extra time to take the exam. Visually impaired, Cerebral Palsy-related disabilities and special needs students can participate in the SSC and equivalent exams this year with audio recorders. Additional 20 minutes time has been extended for such candidates and hearing impaired candidates. Candidates suffering from autistic, down syndrome, cerebral palsy have been given an opportunity to take the exam with the special support of teachers, parents, helpers with an additional 30 minutes extension. SSC written exam will start from 30th April till 23rd May. Practical exam will be conducted between 24th to 30th May. The submission test will start from 30th April and will continue till 25th May. The practical test of submissions will be held between 27th May and 3rd June. The SSC (Vocational) written examination will start from April 30 and continue till May 23. The practical test will be held from May 25 to June 4 and practical training from June 5 to June 15.
