Content creator Ashraful Alam (Hero Alam) has filed a defamation case against BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. The defamation damages against him have been mentioned in the complaint as 50 crore taka.
He filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saiful Islam on Monday. The court accepted the statement of the plaintiff and directed the Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) to investigate and submit a report on the allegations in the case.
Earlier on Sunday (August 6), Hero Alam went to the Dhaka court to file a case after complaining to the DB. He stayed at the National Medical College Hospital parking lot in a Hiace car with number plates covered without entering the court. Meanwhile, he sat in the car and consulted with advocate Abdullah Munsoor and left the National Medical College.
Earlier, after coming out of the DB office, Hero Alam said that BNP senior leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi abused him as uneducated. I came to complain about this to DB. But they said DB cannot directly take any case in this regard. So now I am going to file a case in court.
He said, I am uneducated. But the leader of his party eight passes. He insulted me as an uneducated madman. Everyone thinks I am a BNP man. People from BNP talked about me. They spoke ill of a man. Many people talk about me in a low, insulting, contemptuous way. People from Jatiya Party also talked bad about me.
He further said, I have lodged a complaint with the DB. But no case can be filed here, so I will go to court to file a case. i will go now No respectable person can insult someone as a mad goat.
About the two major political parties of the country, Hero Alam said, I love Awami League and BNP. But due to the actions of some of these people, their party is in this condition today.
Last July 18, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi participated in the padayatra program at Bhuban Mohan Shaheed Minar Park in Rajshahi city and commented on Hero Alam. In view of this comment, Hero Alam went to meet the DB head.
