Road accidents in Sylhet division have slightly decreased in August compared to July. 20 people were killed and 44 injured in 19 road accidents in Sylhet division in August. This report was published by the Sylhet Divisional Committee for Safe Roads (Nischa).
According to the report, 20 people were killed and 44 injured in 19 road accidents in Sylhet division in August. Most of these road accidents have occurred in Moulvibazar district. And the least number of road accidents occurred in Sunamganj district. 5 people were killed and 4 injured in 6 road accidents in Sylhet district in August. 3 people were killed and 30 injured in 3 road accidents in Sunamganj district.
7 people were killed and 6 injured in 4 road accidents in Moulvibazar district and 5 people were killed and 4 injured in 6 road accidents in Habiganj district.
Co-Organizing Secretary of Nischa Central Committee, Member Secretary of Sylhet Divisional Committee and Convener of Sylhet District Zahirul Islam Mishu said in a statement sent to the media that 5 local dailies, online newspaper information, 2 national daily newspaper information, alleged unpublished or unpublished events and Nischa Sylhet branch organizations. The report also mentions that 8 motorcyclists and riders, 6 CNG and Laguna drivers and passengers and 3 pedestrians were killed in road accidents in Sylhet division in August.
