159 government employees arrested for money laundering in Saudi Arabia

 Saudi Arabia’s Supervisory and Anti-Corruption Authority (Najaha) on Tuesday arrested 159 government officials on charges of bribery and money laundering. According to the information , the anti-corruption authority monitored 2,194 complaints, investigated 241 suspects and arrested 159 people on specific charges of abuse of power, bribery, money laundering and money laundering. Some of the arrested accused have already been released on bail. Most of those arrested belong to the ministries of Defence, Home Affairs, Health, Education, Justice, Urban and Rural Housing, Zakat, Taxation and Customs.
